Hello and Happy Sunday! Today I will be sharing these pictures above.
(The first 3 pictures I took and the last one my friend took it.)
On Labor Day, I went to Lake Del Valle in Livermore. I wasn't really in the the mood to go out for Labor Day. I had in mind to just be at home like always and do homework that I had at that moment. My friends insisted me to go and so I did. It was my second time going there and lately it has been one of my all time favorite place to go.
It is a really nice place to go and have fun. They have boat rentals such as motorboats, pontoon boats, canoes, rowboats, and paddle boats. The boat that we were on in the picture was the paddle boat. We would have to steer the boat with a mini steering wheel in the middle that it had and use our leg movement to make the boat move with the paddles at the bottom. It was a lot of leg movement that we had to stop for a minute or so and then keep going. We also switched spots so that the 2 (Ana and Miguel) wouldn't be doing all the work in moving the paddle boat.
|This is how a paddle boat looks like. It is for 4 people. 2 in front and 2 in the back. The 2 in the back don't have paddles.|

It was 12 of us in total that went on the paddle boat but obviously we all couldn't fit in one since each paddle boat had 4 seats. An adult had to be in the paddle boat because of course they wouldn't allow under 18 years of age alone.
While out there in the water, my friend's mom caught a fish with her bare hands which was very surprising. The fish had bit her finger. She was able to get the fish because we think that someone had already caught the fish since it had a hole in the middle. When we got of off we showed the people who were in charge of the life jackets and they were all surprised by how she caught the fish but also how they never seen that kind of fish in a while. Their reaction was so funny and they started taking pictures of it. I forgot the name of the fish but if can remember the fish weighed like 3 or 4 pounds. You can see the fish in the picture above.
The times that I have gone to Lake Del Valle have been really fun. It's a place where you get to enjoy yourself and forget everything else for while. It is a great place that offers fishing, boating, kayaking, sailing, swimming, camping and hiking. I would recommend you guys going there sometime.
